Just so we’re all clear, this is what we’re talking about:
The most shameful part of this is really the Bush years.
And, also to be clear (because the media is trying hard to pretend this isn’t true: these “catastrophic cuts?” They’re Obama’s idea. He owns this. This is what Obama planned, this is the legislation that Congress passed, and this is the law Obama signed.
Charles Krauthammer: ”The assumption is that somehow at every stage of the expansion of the liberal federal government we have reached a platonic ideal and that if you cut a dollar off that, it’s as if God had devised exactly the size of government America needs and any cut leads to Armageddon.”

I do like the lack of sources, but where are the cuts coming from? If it was from our defense budget it wouldn’t be much of a cut at all. I doubt it is though.
While it is an entertaining picture it doesn’t say anything that has not already been said.
As for the “Came from the white house” thing we all know that’s bull shit. It came from congress as well. It was supposed to be painful cuts to services no one wanted to cut such as education, thus forcing everyone to come to a balanced deal that cut spending and increased revenue. That backfired because half of our elected officials fight against any form of raising revenue.
Here the budget surplus/deficit as a percent of the GPD. I admit it isn’t as pretty as yours but it also isn’t designed as propaganda. Notice the change at the end of Bush’s last budget in ’09
Oh dear the picture doesn’t seen to be showing up for me at least.

Why is the Media not showing and explaining real examples like this. Where is the truth? Everything today is Symbolism over Substance and Political Correctness. We must change the direction of this Country by Changing Washington.
