I’ve got interesting news: congress just reauthorized VAWA after debating whether federal resources are needed to supplement state-level domestic violence and in general crime-against-women services. Apparently congress seems to think that Title VII is useless and that laws such as Bischoff and all of the state-level criminal justice services (including witness protection) do not suffice.
I wrote my rep that I am pissed off that no-one came up with Violence Against Men Act. We need more laws and more laws and more laws. Right? Those are liberals for you. Try to argue with these cretins that we have enough federal and State-level laws already, to assist us in addressing violence against women and that no money needs ton be spent to duplicate Title VII. No logic prevails….
People need to be educated that there is no need for us to federally fund a program for services that we fully fund at the state level. But I guess it is all about the good feeling of “false” protection by these dems.
