Hey…you can’t blame the guy. He saw the wrist slap his boss received for the very same thing (and without even an ounce of the belligerence and disrespect for the arresting officer as his boss-lady displayed). He’s simply trying emulate his boss.
Yet, Travis County Assistant DA Brandon Grunewald and Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg are in charge of prosecuting others who drive drunk? Rosemary “Three-Sheets-To-The-Wind” Lehmberg issued a statement saying, “Hey, shit happens. But no…seriously, you’re fired kid. We can’t have that kind of behavior sullying the good name of the DA’s office.”
Another Travis Co. prosecutor is charged with DWI. Brandon Grunewald was arrested after a crash Sunday. He refused to take a breath test.

Notice that he, like his boss-lady, refused the breath test. That’s all you need to know as to why you should never, ever consent to a breath test on the spot. Even our own DUI prosecutors know better than to blow.
Like Lehmberg, this clown should be fired, too. Our government officials should be held to a higher standard — and not be out driving the roads drunk and endangering the lives of city residents.
