It was especially gut-wrenching to watch his mother and the mother of his infant child have to bury their husband, father, and son on the day before Mother’s Day.

Sen. Byrd should be embarrassed. He was probably too busy naming building after himself to properly honor a true West Virgina hero. Which also goes to show that when you need something done, call a Texan!

Spc. Matt Morris will buried today at the Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery in Killeen, TX. I wish I could attend the services to pay my respects — but I know that my fellow PGR riders will be there to ensure that the passing of this soldier does not go unnoticed.

Thunder on the Colorado Biker Rally

It’s a 3-day rally down beneath the giant Live Oak trees on the banks of the Colorado River, about 50 miles south east of Austin. I’ll be down there all day today, and will probably stick around for the 6:00 pm biker parade through “downtown” Smithville.
