The Pentagon Memorial

Every plane that flew over was an eerie reminder of that day. That, and looking at the South wall of the Pentagon — it’s painfully obvious where the new construction is, as the stone is much lighter and whiter than the original and undamaged stone.

Nike Human Race — Austin

Out of the 25 host cities, Austin finished with the second best average time for all runners — second to only Taipai.

I don’t think the running had as much to do with his death as the “being hit by two 18-wheel trucks and two cars”. Running across a freeway won’t kill you. But being rolled over by a few cars and trucks usually will.
