Laugh or cry, chose one. Having no opinion about the responses by these high school students is not an option.

Even if they don’t know who the Vice President is or what countries border our nation, I would be willing to bet a billion Quatloos they know every winner of American Idol since the tv show began.

Tara Driscoll mug shot

How sick do you have to be, how little self-esteem do you have to have, how desperate do you have to be to have sex with little boys when you're a grown woman?

EDITOR’s NOTE: Mrs. Driscoll has not admitted to the rape, rather has been charged with rape. The headline has been changed to reflect that.

____________

If this had been a male teacher who raped an underage student in a hotel room, he would be in fired immediately and in prison tomorrow. And rightly so.

But when female teachers rape underage boys (and girls) who are their students? Different story. Often the media and courts make it seem that the teacher is somehow the victim. And their sentences are usually something ridiculous…like probation or other slaps on the wrist.

Like this Queens teacher who raped a male student in a hotel room:

A city high school teacher was arrested Friday for bedding an underage student at a hot-sheets motel in Long Island, police said.

Tara Driscoll, 33, an english teacher at the Campus Magnet high school, in Cambria Heights, Queens, is accused of having the sex tryst with the unidentified student on March 19 at the Capri Motel in Lynbrook, Nassau County police said.

The boy, who is under 17 years old, was a student at Campus Magnet, but it’s unclear if Driscoll taught him.

When the student’s mother learned of the encounter, she alerted police, cops said.

Driscoll, who has worked as a teacher for city since 2006 and earns nearly $57,000 a year, surrendered to special victims investigators Friday morning, cops said. She was charged with rape and criminal sexual act.

Driscoll is still employed by the city, but has been reassigned out of the classroom, the city Education Department said.

Female teacher? Rape a student? No problem — we’ll simply reassign you out of the classroom and let you keep drawing a paycheck.

This is just a guess, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was literally impossible for the city to fire her on such short notice. Getting rid of tenured teachers is nearly impossible thanks to corrupt teachers unions who care more about protecting their jobs and benefits than they do about their students.

One of the great triumphs of the feminist movement (as well as the civil rights movement) in this country wasn’t to secure equal rights for women, but rather to secure a dump truck load of special rights and treatment based on nothing more than their lack of balls and a y-chromosome.

Remember Sheri Lynn Davis, the teacher in Houston caught on video tape beating up a 13-year old student?

Gabriel Hahn Moseley

The bar for teachers isn't very high at this school, is it?

Well, you might remember that there were a few other adults and at least one other teacher in the room who stood by and watched her beat the kid without doing anything about it.

Well, one of those teachers has resigned over the incident. Oh, and he appears to be another model citizen teaching at Jamie’s House Charter School:

A social studies teacher at Jamie’s House Charter School resigned today after school officials found he had witnessed a fellow teacher beating a 13-year-old student late last month and did not try to stop it or report it to administrators.

Gabriel Hahn Moseley, 33, had taught at the north Harris County charter school since November 2009.

Seven months earlier, Moseley pleaded guilty to two counts of marijuana possession on school grounds. Moseley was a teacher in the Houston Independent School District and had been arrested twice — three days apart, in November 2008 — on charges of having less than two ounces of marijuana in his car at school.

A spokeswoman for Jamie’s House this afternoon said school officials knew about Moseley’s misdemeanor charges, but noted that he was still a state-certified teacher.

Which is odd…because he doesn’t look like the kind of guy who would smoke dope…much less bring it to school with him (to get high while he teaches, or to sell it to his students?).

What a pathetic excuse for a man you are, Mr. Moseley.

Reason number 9876 that, if my lovely wife and I are ever blessed with children, they will never set foot in a public school (and most likely will be home schooled instead).

The following video shows Sheri Lynn Davis, 40, who is a school teacher at Houston’s Jamie’s House Charter School beating up one of her students — 13-year old Isaiah Reagins — for more than a minute, kicking him, slapping his face and dragging him on the floor of a classroom.

Thankfully, one of the other students in class caught filmed this with her cell phone camera:

All I know, is if that was my child, the moment I saw this video I would be on my way to wherever that teacher lives or works, and I would beat her half to death, and I’d take my risk that not a jury in the world would convict me for it either.

The student’s parents are suing the school, claiming that the school attempted to cover this up. Not surprisingly, Davis’ lawyer had “no comment.”

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Davis has not been charged, but she has an unrelated criminal mischief charge pending. She is accused of using a knife to slash the tires of another woman’s car, court records show.

What a piece-of-shit thug. How the hell did she ever get this job to begin with? She should be in jail right now, for a long, long time.

Almost as sickening as it is to watch a teacher act this way, is the fact that there were at least three teachers and three or four other adults were in the room during the incident on April 29. If I were that kids parent, after I finished beating the teacher half-to-death, I’d go after them, too.

Fucking cowards. Not a single one of them should ever be allowed in a classroom again.

Someone in the comments of another thread accused me of being particularly “angry” this week — you’re damned right I’m angry, and it’s because of shit like this.

Rosanna Brown -- too pathetic to get real man

Rosanna Brown -- child molester

Rosanna Brown, a  49-year-old teacher at Ed Pastor Elementary School in Phoenix, AZ, was arrested for having sex with a 14-year old male student:

Brown had checked into the hotel on Saturday and when the boy arrived at the hotel, he claimed the room was dark, and believed he was having sex with a teenage girl, Arpaio said. But then the boy realized it was his English teacher. [...]

After the boy left the room, he told his mother, who came to the hotel and confronted Brown, Arpaio said.

When deputies arrived at the hotel, Brown was hiding in a bathroom before she was taken away in handcuffs, Arpaio said.

Brown claims that the only reason she tricked the boy into having sex with her (other than the obvious fact that not even a horny teenage boy would willingly have sex with her bloated carcass) was that she had sex with the boy to prevent him from sleeping with his girlfriend (who is her goddaughter).

Outstanding — she had sex with the boy to keep the boy from having sex.

Can you imagine if a male teacher tried to use this excuse as to why he had sex with a teenaged student?

Michelle Fresno: At least she didn't try to cut the kid's arm off with a machete

Michelle Fresno: At least she didn't try to cut his arm off...

Michelle Fresno , a 26-year-old karate instructor in Florida, was arrested this week after she admitted to police that she had sex with a 15-year-old boy who was a student at the dojo where she worked.

Which is distrubing enough on it’s own.

But buried at the end of a long account of their affair is this detail that I find more horrifying than a teenage boy having sex with an older woman:

The relationship came to light Dec. 1, when the boy sought a school guidance counselor and ended up telling the school resource officer that his mother hit him in the arm with the broad side of a machete while they argued about his relationship with Fresno. Another officer contacted the boy’s mother, who pressed charges.

His mother smacked him with a machete? Are you freak’n kidding me?

Hopefully some charges are pending for mom, too. How awesome would it have been if mom would have cut her son’s arm off? Now that would teach him to have sex with older women, wouldn’t it?

Another female teacher having an affair with one of her students.

This particular story probably isn’t making the national headlines because the teacher isn’t particularly attractive — like Debra LaFave, Carrie McCandless, or Pamela Rogers.

But it’s an interesting — and tragic and disturbing — story.

Kelsey Peterson, 25, a sixth-grade math teacher and basketball coach at Lexington Middle School in Lexington, NE — was having a sexual affair with a 13-year old boy from her school.

Once she was discovered, Ms. Peterson and the boy fled south across the borders to Mexico (where she has since been apprehended).

Why Mexico? Well, because that’s where the boy belongs:

Fernando [the boy] was turned over to relatives in Mexico. He was an illegal immigrant while residing in the United States, and might not be able to return to the rural Nebraska town where he was an eighth-grader.

I’m sure we’ll here the usual cries from the open-boarders crowd that the US Government is “breaking up a family” by not letting Fernando come back into the US (illegally) — when the truth is that his parents decisions to come here illegally bares the sole responsibility for their separation.

The boy’s aunt, Laura Rodriguez, who has been speaking for the family, did not answer calls to her Lexington home and cell phone on Sunday.

I’m guessing Aunt Rodriquez is “speaking for the family” because 1) they are also here illegally and are — and should be — afraid of being deported, and 2) probably can’t speak for themselves (at least not in English).

Again — this is a sad story of sexual abuse by a teacher. I hope she serves a very long time in jail.

But I also hope that Fernando’s illegal family here in the US is rounded up and sent back to Mexico to be with their son — who really needs them now — back where they belong.

Carrie McCandles

Where oh where were you when I was in HS, Ms. McCandless

Another attractive blonde teacher, Carrie McCandless (29) of Brighton, CO, has sexually assaulted one of her male students.

And, like Debra LaFave, she’s probably going to go relatively unpunished. Because she’s a hot female teacher. And not some fat old perverted male teacher.

From near my hometown of Conroe, TX (Minchew lives in Conroe, but was a teacher in nearby Magnolia, TX):

MAGNOLIA — A former high school teacher was arrested today on charges of sexually assaulting a teenage boy in an incident which happened last month, police said.

Lisa Minchew, 28, was arrested at her home in the 16300 block of Sun View in Conroe about 7:40 a.m., according to a released statement from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

She is being held in the county jail with bail set at $75,000. Police said the investigation began six months ago regarding allegations Minchew had sex with boys under the age of 16.

I can’t find any pictures of Lisa, which leads me to believe that she’s not a hottie like Pamela Rodgers or Debra LaFave…otherwise there would have been a National Enquirer-full of photos (I did find plenty of photos of Lacey Minchew, though — Lacey is a hottie co-ed from LSU and former Miss Louisiana contestant).

UPDATE:I found her mug shot. Told you she would be a looker.

Always a pedophile

Pamela Rogers, a former teacher who has already served jail time for having sex with a 13-year-old student, was sent to prison for more than six years today for violating her probation by sending the boy nude photos of herself after she got out of jail.

The biggest myth about child-molesting pedophiles is that they can be rehabilitated. It’s a lie. The first time someone is ever convicted of sexually harming a child, they should be locked up for the rest of their life.

At least in the case of Ms. Rogers she’ll be serving some time (although not nearly enough time) in prison. Unlike the wretched tale of Debra LaFave who is back on the streets, free to molest more young children (that’s what societal double-standard looks like, boys and girls).

Debra LafaveKelli Kennedy of the Associated Press is reporting on Debra Lafave:

ORLANDO, Fla. — State prosecutors decided Tuesday to drop charges against a former Tampa teacher accused of having sex with a 14-year-old middle school student.

Did you hear that? That was the sound of Double-Standard hitting the floor with a dull thud.

Would we let a grown man — a teacher, no less — who raped and molested a 14 year old girl walk because the young girl was scared of testifying? No. You find a a way to protect the child. You find a way to build a strong enough case without needing the child’s testimony, if necessary. But you don’t let the predator go.

Any man who would have Lafave now is either a pathetic excuse for a man or a desperate loser. Probably both.

And the double-standard of sentencing sex offenders

Debra LafaveDebra Lafave, 25, pled guilty to having sex with one of her 14 year-old male students. At her home, in their classroom, and once in a car.

The young, blonde-haired, blue-eyed teacher — who is often described as “hot” in most news stories — was slapped on the wrist and sentenced to 3 years house arrest and 7 years of probation.

Interestingly, her defense lawyer’s excuse as to why Mrs. LaFave (soon to be the ex-Ms. Lafave, I would assume) would not accept a jail sentence as part of any plea:

Fitzgibbons said in July that plea negotiations had broken off because prosecutors insisted on prison time, which he said would be too dangerous for someone as attractive as Lafave.

Considering that I am a lot more attractive than Mrs. Lafave, I think if I ever get arrested I’m going to try this line of defense myself.

***
But seriously, the most troubling part of this story (other than the part where an adult, in a position of authority over children, abused her power and repeatedly raped one of them), is the double-standard applied to her because she is a woman. And more so because she was a “hot” woman. I mean, come on—the boy probably not only was asking for it, hell, he was probably praying for it.

The fact that Lafave got only house arrest, and the fact the MSM is so reluctant to use the R(ape) word makes one wonder about the twisted double-standard applied to women who rape children and men who rape children.

Reverse the situation: what if a young male teacher repeatedly had sex with a 14-year-old female student in his classroom, in his house, and in his car while her 15-year-old cousin was driving? How many years of prison do you think he would serve? Any chance in hell he simply gets house arrest (without electronic monitoring, to boot)?
