Terrance Hall the dead robber

You gotta be world-class stupid to be a robber/burglar in Texas

If you’ve decided to make burglarizing peoples homes and robbing businesses your profession, you’re a loser to begin with. But to decide to go into that line of work in Texas, where most of us own guns and our legally protected if we shoot you in your worthless ass for trying to break into your homes or rob our businesses also makes you an idiot.

What did 33-year old thug Terrance Hall think convenience store employee Thom Vu was going to do when he climbed over a safety glass partition in order to get to him and the cash register?

A north Houston convenience store employee shot and killed a burglary suspect after the man climbed over the safety glass, Houston police said on Friday.

Terrance Hall was shot several times about 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the store in the 800 block of West Little York. The 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital, HPD officials said.

Store employee Thom Vu, 49, told HPD investigators Hall tried to push open a door in the back then climbed onto a nearby ATM machine, police said.

Hall then crawled over the safety glass around the register area and fell behind the counter.

Vu told police he grabbed a gun as Hall came toward him and opened fire.

A Harris County grand jury will decide if any charges will be filed in the shooting.

According to Harris County records, Hall had a criminal record with past convictions for narcotics trafficking, criminal trespass and evading arrest.

That should be one of the shortest grand jury meetings ever. Mr. Vu should be commended for his actions and for taking another piece-of-shit thug off the streets.

Is it any wonder that Obama would try to destroy the second amendment if he were elected to a second term? It’s resulting in the death of way too many of his supporters and voters…

Blue pit bull

Just a sweet, happy puppy. Until it decides to go all "pit bull" on some little kid or old lady and kills them

Just another sweet family pet that would never hurt a fly. Until it kills an innocent and defenseless member of its own family. Tragic. Criminally tragic.

Anybody who owns one of these dogs and has children is a moron. Why you would take a chance of having this breed around your defenseless children is beyond me. Get a Lab, a Boxer, or Great Dane, if you must have a dog around your children. But a pit bull? Not just stupid, but criminally stupid. Period.

And, while “it’s the owner” is often a contributing factor in the dangerousness of this breed, it has more to do with the damned breed itself — this breed is just wired wrong and will always be a potential danger to everyone who encounters it.

Via the Houston Chronicle:

A 1-year-old boy was killed when he was attacked by his family’s pit bull at his grandparents’ home on Saturday night, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

The baby was mauled in the 27000 block of Medina Circle in far west Montgomery County, authorities said in a statement.

A deputy responding at about 8 p.m. tried to control the dog, but the animal lunged at him, officers said. The officer then shot the dog. There was no information on the dog’s condition.

According to authorities, the child was in the home with his 45-year-old grandmother when he was attacked. The woman was not injured, but was taken to the hospital after enduring emotional trauma in the tragedy, officers said.

If you don’t want to be shot by the police there are a couple of things you can do to reduce that chance:

  1. Don’t run from the police when they try to stop you
  2. Don’t try to fight the police when they catch you

If only this thug had read this blog and headed my advice before he decided to run from and then scuffle with a Houston Police officer, they might not have had to shoot him (in the shoulder):

A Houston police officer shot a man in the shoulder after a car chase early Sunday morning, according to KTRK.

According to the story, the suspect fled after the officer tried to pull him over at 12:30 a.m. on Green River near Mesa. The suspect then crashed into a home in northeast Harris County on Abalone Way near Flower Path, plowing through a fence and running into patio furniture.

After the crash, the suspect and the officer then got into a fight and the officer pulled his weapon and shot him in the shoulder. The injury is not life-threatening. Another officer who responded to the incident reported injuring his knee.

A mother, her two daughters, and her son decided to make “purse snatching” a family business, robbing local shoppers at Willowbrook Mall in Houston. Thankfully they were caught, and will not be occupying a jail cell on Thanksgiving:

Linda Hinchley, the latest victim, was attacked while placing items in her car at the Willowbrook Mall Tuesday night.

“I was approached by a black SUV that almost rolled over my foot,” said Hinchley. “They grabbed my purse and dragged me along the concrete when I fell to the ground.”

Hinchley, who suffered scrapes and bruises, said she never saw the thieves coming.

“It only took 10 to 20 seconds for this to happen,” she said.

Houston police, who happened to be patrolling through the parking lot looking for car thieves, spotted the suspect’s vehicle, missing a license plate and speeding away.

Police stopped the vehicle. According to investigators, police found a treasure trove of stolen purses inside.

Michelle Coleman and her oldest daughter, 19-year-old Ebonye Coleman were charged with robbery.  Coleman’s 17-year-old son Darrian Robinson was also charged with robbery. Coleman’s youngest daughter is a juvenile. Police said they found dozens of stolen credit cards stuffed in her underwear.

It’s been years since I’ve been to Willowbrook Mall. But the black undertow that has been destroying that area of Houston seems to be closer to completing its mission. (did you have any doubt that the family would be a certain unmentionable race when you read the headline?)

In related news, another mahogany mob hit another 7-11 convenience store — up to 50 black teens and young adults stormed the store and brazenly took whatever they wanted.

It seems there are only two solutions left: heavily armed convenience store clerks, or prohibiting black youths from entering convenience stores more than 2 at a time. Of course, a third option — black people could quit robbing stores and acting like animals in public. But apparently that’s too much to ask…

Lawrence Auster makes a spot on observation about the media’s reporting on blacks in America:

[But] The current reality, in which the blackness of blacks is relentlessly pushed into our faces when it advances blacks’ interests or blacks’ collective ego, but is covered up when it does not, is also extremely odd, and yet everyone takes it for granted. No one in mainstream America questions it.”

An off-duty South Houston police officer stopped at a Citgo convenience store when an armed robber ran from the store and opened fire on the uniformed officer (the officer was in uniform because he had just finished up a part-time security job).

The officer, who was not injured in the fire fight, hit the fleeing thug who ran off before collapsing and dying in the parking lot of a funeral home.

Which is great on several accounts: 1) no need for an expensive trial and incarceration for this piece of shit thug, and 2) well…he died at a funeral home; one less trip for everybody.

Inside the store, two customers were shot by the robber — one in the stomach and one in the back. Both are in a hospital in critical condition. The clerk was not harmed.

Thankfully this happened in Houston. Had it happened in Austin, the dead thug’s degenerate family would have sued the city, and our worthless race-hustling city council would have given them three quarters of a million dollars of our tax money.

_______________

If you don’t already have a CHL, go get one. And then carry everywhere you go where you are legally allowed to carry. Even if it’s just to a quick run to the convenience store; you never know where and when evil will attack.

Kenneth Kobobel

Once a Marine, always a Marine...

Do. Not. Mess. With. Marines. Ever.

Kenneth Kobobel Sr., a 72-year-old Marine veteran, had yet to put on his eyeglasses when he heard a knock at the door of his office in a northwest Houston strip mall around 9:45 a.m. on Friday.

The great-grandfather was chatting with his brother inside the office, making plans for the day, and figured the towering man waiting outside was one of his workers coming to collect his Friday paycheck.

But when Kobobel opened the door, a man he had never seen before forced his way inside and put a 9mm handgun to his forehead.

“You’re dead!” he said the man screamed. “Give me the money! You’re dead!”

But the next few, frantic minutes actually would turn out to be the robber’s last.

He forced Kobobel to his knees, his brother to the ground. He emptied the brother’s wallet, and Kobobel gave him $20. But the robber kept looking, Kobobel said, and patted down one of his pockets, finding a tight wad of bills totaling more than $800.

“You lied to me!” the man screamed. “You’re dead!”

He said the robber struck him on the head with the barrel of the 9mm and tossed the desk and credenza looking for more money. The robber finally seemed satisfied they had no more cash and said to “count to 100 before you even think of walking to that door.”

But Mr. Kobobel was not about to let that punk thug get away with the money that he worked hard to earn:

His father [Mr. Kobobel] remembers the next few minutes through the haze of an adrenaline rush. He said he spotted the robber in a parking lot of a strip mall on Northline and headed toward him.

“He turned and saw me and pointed the gun at me,” Kobobel said.

He said the man fired at him at least once.

Kobobel rammed him with his car, but the robber jumped right back up and recocked his gun, he said.

“I hit him again,” he said. “I hit him pretty good that time.”

I’m just thankful that the only person hurt was the thug, and that Mr. Kobobel was able to go home to his family.

At least 17 apparently

They were probably speeding to an emergency room so that the two females in the van could give birth (yea! free health care) in the United States to their precious little anchor babies.

If you’re somewhere where you shouldn’t be — say, something like…oh, I don’t know…being in my country illegally after swimming across the Rio Grande in the dark of the night — perhaps you should try to prevent drawing extra attention to yourself by breaking other laws:

More than a dozen illegal immigrants, including four children, were discovered in a van that was stopped for speeding Thursday night on U.S. 59 in Humble.

Officers stopped the van on the Eastex Freeway northbound near Townsen about 8 p.m., according to the Humble Police Department.

Police said officers contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement after they interviewed the people inside.

ICE officials said 17 people, including four juveniles, were in the van. Fifteen of the people — 13 males and two females — have been determined to be in the country illegally, said Greg Palmore, an ICE spokesman.

The people are being held at an ICE detention center. ICE is investigating.

What’s to investigate? Put them on a plane, fly them to the very southern edge of Mexico, and then push them out of the plane. Then send a bill to the Mexican government for the cost of repatriating their citizens. Which won’t happen of course. They’ll probably be released in the next few days/weeks…right back into their new home here in Texas. As one commenter at the Houston Chronicle writes:

And of course ICE is trying to get them a job, a place to live, and medical care. And when August comes, they’ll make sure their kids enroll in school. And by the end of this year, they’ll all be registered to vote.

Of course a van full of speeding Mexicans would be less suspicious than a van full of Mexicans doing exactly the speed limit (most likely in the fast lane during rush hour). I joke that you can always tell which vehicles on the road here in Texas is being driven by an illegal immigrant — it’s the late model Chevy Astro van doing exactly the speed limit while every single other car around them is zipping past 10 mph+ above the limit.

Susie Castillo

Susie Castillo, Miss USA in 2003, was repeatedly sexually assaulted by TSA agents

While the TSA is upstairs sexually assaulting 6-year old girls and former sticking their fingers in inappropriate places on former beauty queens, airport baggage handlers are on the tarmac loading up the cargo hold with bricks of marijuana:

Federal agents arrested four people on Thursday in an alleged scheme by airline baggage handlers to smuggle drugs from Houston to Detroit, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officials said.

The investigation into the Houston-Detroit smuggling ring began in March 2010, when agents seized 45 pounds of marijuana from Delta Airlines baggage handlers at Detroit’s Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.

The marijuana pipeline began with other baggage handlers at Bush Intercontinental Airport, federal officials said.

ICE officials said they arrested Clifford Skinner, 38; Kevin Atwater, 40; LaDale Callaway, 39; and Yohanis Watson, 37. The Detroit News reported that Callaway and Watson were the two workers based at Bush.

The four were charged in federal court with possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute and conspiracy. They face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, ICE officials said.

The case began while federal agents were investigating a separate drug smuggling ring involving airline baggage handlers in Detroit that began in Jamaica. On Thursday, federal agents arrested eight other people for their alleged roles in that investigation.

We’re in the very best of hands, I assure you.

If these thugs and crooks are willing to smuggle drugs aboard a plane in order to make a buck, what’s to stop one of them from smuggling weapons or explosives onto a plane for a far bigger payday? If we can’t even prevent drug dealers from getting a job as a baggage handler, how are we supposed to be assured that wannabe terrorists aren’t also landing these jobs?

anti-union logoChris Moran at the Houston Chronicle reports that the city of Houston “may consider job performance when laying off workers.”

Wow. What a novel idea.

City officials who will consider laying off more than 2,300 employees this year may be able to consider job performance in identifying which workers get pink slips.

An amendment to the city’s layoff ordinance on its way to council on Wednesday would add merit to the current last-hired first-fired system.

The merit idea was on this week’s council agenda, separate from and preceding MayorAnnise Parker‘s remarks that closing a $130 million budget gap would occur largely through layoffs. Several council members tagged the item to postpone its consideration for a week.

Parker participated in talks with the Houston Organization of Public Employees, which represents nearly 5,000 city workers, to craft the amendments to the layoff ordinance. Police officers and firefighters have separate unions. Public safety employee layoffs will continue on a seniority basis in accordance with state law.

Last hired/first fired rules are stupid at every single level. All they ensure is that people who suck at their jobs are allowed to continue to suck at their jobs for a long time.

As Megan Mcardle said back in 2008 (about the UAW at the time):

Places where production decisions are made based on how much labor they can consume, rather than how much value they can produce, make everyone in society worse off in the long run.

And that’s exactly what unions like the Houston Organization for Public Employees fire/hire policies ensure. We Tax Payers deserve much better for our hard-earned dollars. And yet one more reason that public unions should never, not ever, be allowed to organize.

My favorite comment from the Chronicle article: “But if performance is going to be a factor, shouldn’t she lay herself off first? She’s been a terrible mayor so far.”

Bike and cops

NOT an actual crime scene photo...

Thankfully, neither of the two officers involved in this incident were injured, and both get to home to their families after another shift of keeping Houston citizens safe from criminals:

The man was on his bike, which had no night light, in the 8300 block of Jensen around 7:30, riding down the middle of the road when the two-man patrol unit almost accidentally struck him, officials said.

The officers turned around and approached the man, who became uncooperative and started digging in his pockets, police said. The officers ordered the man to put his hands in the air, and he did, police said. As the officers were placing him under arrest and just before they were about to pat him down, he put his hands back in his pockets and pulled a pistol, Houston Police Department spokesman Victor Senties said.

One officer hollered, “Gun!,” Senties said. Officer C.E. Edwards fired, striking the man in the head. The man, in his 20s, was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police line-of-duty deaths increased 37% in 2010, and just in the past 7 days at least 7 officers have been killed in the line of duty in Texas.

All in a day’s work for HPD trying to thin the herd of thugs, drug dealers, and other assorted Pieces of Shit that inhabit this part of town. The officer should be commended for his superb accuracy under duress — one shot, one kill. Impressive.

That’s gotta sting a little if you’re the former Mayor of Houston and their old boss.

_______

The two non-military professions I respect and admire the most are police/law enforcement officer and firefighter.

Men who put their lives on the line on a daily basis to protect other people. Very little is more honorable or braver than the jobs that these men and women do for us.

Which is why I think that it is especially telling that the Houston Police Officers Union have joined the Harris County(Houston) Deputies Organization and the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 341 in endorsing Gov. Rick Perry for re-election this year instead of their former boss, Bill White.

HOUSTON – Today Gov. Perry received the endorsement of the Houston Police Officers’ Union for the 2010 general election. He also pledged to make the abolition of sanctuary cities an emergency item in the upcoming legislative session.

“It is a distinct honor to receive the endorsement of the courageous men and women of the Houston Police Officers’ Union because they exemplify the values of personal sacrifice, integrity and public service that have made our state so great,” said Gov. Perry. “I look forward to providing the resources our officers need to continue providing the protection and comfort of Texas families need to feel safe.”

In his remarks, Gov. Perry assured that abolishing sanctuary cities in Texas will be a priority recognizing that some Texas cities have enacted sanctuary city rules that tie the hands of their police officers as they work to uphold the law. He announced he will make the abolition of sanctuary city rules an emergency item in the next legislative session, which will help ensure that Texas law enforcement professionals have the discretion to use their judgment, honed by years of training and experience, as they work to keep Texas communities safe.

As a general rule of thumb, I almost always try to be on the same side of an issue as the men and women of our military, and similarly, I almost always seem to side with the men and women in law enforcement. We wolves tend to think alike.

So, this whole voter registration fraud that’s being perpetrated by Democrats (via ACORN and the SEIU) in Houston is starting to gain some traction. Well…at least amongst right-of-center bloggers and finally with FOX News.

Guess who is completely ignoring this major story (especially when you consider the “coincidence” of most of Houston’s voting machines going up in smoke one day after these revelations of Democrat voter registration fraud came to light)? That’s right the MFM.

That’s to be expected. But what shouldn’t be expected — nor tolerated — is the Democrat-loving staff at the Houston Chronicle who has their head buried in the sand while ignoring this major story in their own backyard.

The man behind the massive voter registration fraud is Sean Caddle of the purple-shirted thugs at SEIU. A quick search through the archives of the Chronicle reveals this:

Sean Caddle voter fraud

Zero articles found in the Houston Chronicle about the biggest voter registration fraud scandal in the history of Houston.

Is there any wonder why the MF legacy media is bleeding readers and subscribers faster than…well…faster than Sean Caddle can fill out fake voter registration cards.
