Amado Espinosa-Ramirez

Thanks, ICE, for releasing this sexual predator (and illegal immigrant) back onto the mean streets of Chicago.

One more reason to deport every single illegal immigrant every single time we find them in our country.

A suspected child rapist is on the loose and in a statement obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement accepts responsibility for releasing him.

The man is identified by ICE as Amado Espinosa-Ramirez. Chicago police arrested him last August, and he was ultimately charged with forty-two counts of predatory sexual acts.

A publicly available inventory of the charges against Espinosa-Ramirez lists multiple counts of sexual relations within the family, multiple counts of sexual assault with the use of force and multiple counts of sexual assault involving a minor less than thirteen years old.

After his Aug. 29, 2011 arrest, Espinosa-Ramirez appeared on Aug. 31 in the Chicago courtroom of Cook County Circuit Court Judge Maria Kuriakos-Ciesil.

At this point, Espinosa-Ramirez was only charged with a handful of the forty-two counts listed in his final indictment. Kuriakos-Ciesil gave Espinosa-Ramirez a bond of $100,000, meaning a $10,000 payment would bail him out of jail.

Also on Aug. 31, ICE placed a detainer, or hold, on Espinosa-Ramirez. If he did post bail, ICE would detain him rather than allowing his release.

Except that when ICE did get their incompetent (and not at all concerned with actually enforcing our country’s immigration laws) hands on this PoS, they let him go. And then act surprised when he doesn’t show up for his hearing. He’s likely back in Mexico raping children there (which isn’t really any better than him raping children here, is it?). Or maybe he only made it as far south as Texas, and is simply living under the radar in one of our numerous sanctuary cities (looking at you Houston and Austin).

On the positive side, if he did stay in Chicago, there’s a very high probability that he’ll be randomly shot do death by a Chicago gangbanger while walking down the street.

The moment this man was arrested (and charged) with those forty-two counts of predatory sexual acts on a minor, and we discovered his illegal immigration status, he should have been immediately deported to the southern most border of Mexico (with an “accidental” castration along the way…oops…sorry, amigo, don’t know how that happened…). Or  — my preference — put him on the next C-130 bound for Afghanistan and drop him in the middle of that God-foresaken third-world country and let him find his way back home to his own God-foresaken third-world country (Mexico).

Luis Hector Lopez-Rodriquez

Luis Hector Lopez-Rodriquez: Illegal Immigrant and Child Killer

This is why law enforcment must not only be allowed to inquire about a suspect’s immigration status any and everytime they pull over a suspect for questioning, but why it should be required that they do so. And this is why we need to deport every single illegal immigrant every singletime that we discover that they are living here (illegally).

A suspected drunken driver accused of crashing into a home, killing one child and injuring another, is being held without bail after a judge heard Monday that he may not be in this country legally.

Luis Hector Lopez-Rodriguez, 27, is accused of losing control of the blue Ford Crown Victoria he was driving and plowing into the front porch of a southwest Houston apartment, where two children were playing during a Saturday night party.

If only there had been some way for Houston law enforcement to know that he was here illegally before he killed this child. Oh wait…there was:

Saturday’s wreck was not the first time Lopez-Rodriguez has been accused of driving drunk.

In January 2008, he pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated in exchange for three days in jail. He also was charged last year in the assault of his wife.

The woman, who has two children with Lopez-Rodriguez, told authorities he hit her in the mouth with his fist. Although he was charged, he apparently was never arrested.

At least 2 other encounters with Houston law enforcement? He was in one of our jails for at least three days? Can you hear the incredulousness rising in my throat? There simply is no excuse for why his (illegal) immigration status wasn’t discovered while he was a guest in one of our jails — and then shipped back to the southern most border of Mexico as quickly as possible.

The blood of this child is on the hands of Houston’s sanctuary city policies. And now the good tax payers of Texas get to pay to incarcerate this piece of shit for the rest of his life. I say we put him on the next C-130 bound for Afghanistan and drop him in the middle of that God-foresaken third-world country and let him find his own way back home to his own God-foresaken third-world country (Mexico).

Voter ID

Voter ID laws: stopping Democrat Voter Fraud

AG Greg Abbot has got his hackles up and the fight against the actions by the DOJ to stop the Texas Voter ID law may well be heard and ruled on by the Supreme Court before the end of this session or in the Fall.

From Election Law Blog, Texas Ups Ante in Its Voter ID Case, Says Voting Rights Act is Unconstitutional:

Texas filed an amended complaint today [UPDATE, actually Tuesday] in its action to overcome the US Department of Justice’s objection to its voter identification law. The complaint now says that the Voting Rights Act section 5, as amended in 2006, “exceeds the enumerated powers of Congress and conflicts with Article IV of the Constitution and the Tenth Amendment.”

This is a very big deal.

I concur. The VRA’s egregious section 5 has ceased to serve as a tool of justice, but instead as a bludgeon for political agendas while denying states their sovereignty.

There is good reason to believe the VRA sec. 5 might well be deemed unconstitutional by the Supremes, well, at least 5 of them.

Back in January, a three judge SCOTUS panel ruled that the San Antonio federal district court improperly redrew the redistricting maps that the Texas legislature had drawn. The San Antonio court was ordered by the Supremes to reconsider the original maps and on February 29, a deal was struck and the Texas redistricting maps were approved with minor changes.

In the unsigned January ruling Justice Clarence Thomas was very clear in expressing his view on the VRA’s sec. 5:

“In my view,” Thomas wrote in a two-page concurrence, “Texas’ failure to timely obtain Section 5 preclearance of its new plans is no obstacle to their implementation, because, as I have previously explained, Section 5 is unconstitutional.”
——————
“Covered jurisdictions are not now engaged in a systematic campaign to deny black citizens access to the ballot through intimidation and violence,” Thomas wrote. “The lack of sufficient evidence that the covered jurisdictions currently engage in the type of discrimination that underlay the enactment of Section 5 undermines any basis for retaining it.”

Though Congress just reauthorized Section 5 until 2031, the provision may be facing certain death at the Supreme Court. The majority opinion in the 2009 case signaled the justices’ willingness to retire Section 5.

In Friday’s ruling on the Texas district maps, the Supreme Court referenced its 2009 decision about the “serious constitutional questions raised by Section 5′s intrusion on state sovereignty.”

The 2009 ruling referenced skirted the constitutionality of VRA sec. 5, but with this filing by the state of Texas, this unnecessary intrusion on state’s rights will have a ten ring painted on it.

Also, there is precedent in the SCOTUS for upholding Voter ID law, though it wasn’t concerning a state covered by the antiquated provisions of sec. 5.
Supreme Court upholds voter ID law:

“We cannot conclude that the statute imposes ‘excessively burdensome requirements’ on any class of voters,” Stevens said.

Stevens’ opinion suggests that the outcome could be different in a state where voters could provide evidence that their rights had been impaired.

Without sec. 5, the bludgeon for distorting public policy decisions in our beloved state will be a thing of the past.

This excellent news had slipped by me for a couple of days before discovering it at the website Stand With Arizona.

On Friday, the school board voted 5-2 to reinstate her to the school. An emotional Bunn was brought to tears over the ordeal, and most of the parents in attendance were overjoyed to have this two-time “Teacher of the Year” back in class.

Congratulations to not only Shirley Bunn, but to the AISD for taking the appropriate action and for the thousands who voiced their support of her. While she made a statement out of frustration to a known “disruptive” student that was distorted into being of a racial nature, any reasonable person could see it was not racist nor nationalistic.

That didn’t stop the agenda driven LULAC from opining after attending the school board meeting:

Said Luis Castillo, a past president of the Arlington LULAC: “The Arlington School Board condones racial remarks by it’s teachers. That’s very disturbing.”

No, dingus, what is disturbing is that a Mexican National is allowed to attend our schools, be disruptive and create an issue that jeopardizes the career of an outstanding teacher.

At this writing, it is not certain if Shirley Bunn will be allowed to return to her previous school. Regardless, I am happy to report that she will not have her career ended by one misfit student.

anchor baby

Sorry, kiddo, but if you're mom's an illegal she's gotta go. Don't worry, though mi hijo, you can go with her.

An 8th grade (and very likely illegal or anchor baby) disrupted his class demanding his Title 1 form (what the hell is a Title 1 form?) be in Spanish. Since…as he adamantly kept yelling…he’s “Mexican.”

Frustrated with this rude little La Raza brat, the 63-year old 2-time Teacher of the Year blurted out, “Then go back to Mexico.”

A Texas teacher is fighting to keep her job after allegedly telling a Hispanic student to “go back to Mexico,” according to a Fox 4 News story.

Two-time “Teacher of the Year” Shirley Bunn, 63, was handing out Title 1 forms to her 8th grade class at Barnett Junior High School in Arlington, the television station reported. A disruptive student requested a Spanish version of the form, saying, “I’m Mexican. I’m Mexican.”

Bunn told the student that he could get a Spanish version in the main office, but the student continued to repeat, “I’m Mexican,” according to the television station.

Bunn responded, “[Then] go back to Mexico,” according to Fox 4.

There are numerous infuriating aspects to this story. First and foremost is that another good teacher will be ruined because of the illegal-immigrant-pandering and politically-incorrect Liberal administrators who run ruin our public schools.

One of the quickest and surest ways to stem the flood of criminals and illegals pouring across our porous border would be to take away the incentives that bring them here: jobs (first and foremost — make it so difficult and so costly to hire illegal workers that employers will quit doing it), birth-right citizenship, free education and healthcare for illegal children (and once we rescind birth-right citizenship, the children of all illegal immigrants).

In the meantime, good for you Mrs. Bunn, because you’re right — if this kid doesn’t want to become American and doesn’t want to assimilate and learn the language of his new country, he (and his illegal parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents) can take their ungrateful asses back across to their failed homeland.

upside down US flagAfter Alabama voters overwhelmingly voted for tougher illegal immigration laws for their state, a funny (but totally awesome) thing happened: illegal immigrants began fleeing from the state like OWS’ers running from personal responsibility (or soap).

Unfortunately, those illegal immigrants weren’t fleeing back from whence they came (Mexico, mostly), but instead were simply migrating (illegally) to other states that made it easier for illegals to live and flourish with as little hassle as possible.

So when I read that California — the only state to rival Texas in terms of the high costs of harboring so many illegal immigrants — is considering a ballot  initiative that would grant amnesty to at least 1 million illegals and allow them to work and live openly (and free from fear of harassment or prosecution) in California — I thought: Good. Let’s pick make one state a magnet for illegals in the US. Let’s give all those illegals fleeing Alabama someplace to go (especially somewhere other than Texas).

SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Nearly 1 million undocumented immigrants could live and work openly in California with little or no fear of deportation under an initiative unveiled Friday by a state legislator and others.

Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes, a Democrat, is helping spearhead the measure, called the California Opportunity and Prosperity Act.

The proposal was filed Friday with the state Attorney General’s Office, marking a first step toward a drive to collect the 504,760 voter signatures needed to qualify for the ballot.

Fuentes called the measure a “moderate, common-sense approach” necessitated by the federal government’s inability to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

“I hope this shows Washington, D.C., that if they fail to act, California will take the lead on this critical issue,” Fuentes said in a written statement.

Supporters say the initiative could generate up to $325 million in new tax revenue from undocumented workers that could assist education, public safety and other state programs.

Regardless whether Californians would support such a measure, implementation would depend upon the federal government agreeing not to prosecute participants.

So…if this were to pass, could we expect Obama’s justice department to step in and sue California like they did when Arizona tried to enact their own immigration laws? Yeah, I wouldn’t expect them to either.

One of my favorite stand up comedians is 36-year old Daniel Tosh. While driving home from work yesterday — I drove my truck for only the second time this month — I happened across a 24/7 comedy radio station (102.7 FM) and they played this clip from Daniel Tosh:

Daniel Tosh – Personal Line of Decency
comedians.comedycentral.com

“I have no problem with illegal immigration in this country,” Tosh announces, jabbing the Right before leveling the Left with this emphatic sucker punch, “except for the fact they don’t serve on jury duty. That’s horseshiiiiiiit. It should be the other way around; they should serve exclusively on jury duty..

[pause to set up the punch line]

Yeah, then it finally would be a jury of ones’ own peers.

It’s not a stereotype if it’s always true. Yeah, then it becomes law. That joke is called, ‘Latinos Are Criminals.’ That’s just a title, it doesn’t mean anything.”

I like Tosh because he’s not afraid to cross boundaries to deliver well thought out jokes. As he says, “If I offend anybody tonight, I apologize. It’s not my intention. I’m not going to guess what your personal line of decency is. I cross my own from time to time; it’s how I know I still have one…”

So while Mittens has been busy bashing Texas Governor Rick Perry for supporting instate tuition for a limited group of children of illegal immigrants, he was hoping that the MFM would ignore the portion of his Obamacare-blueprint healthcare plan that he signed into law in Massachusetts that gave free health care to any and all illegal immigrants in his state:

Reporting from Washington— The Massachusetts healthcare law that then-Gov. Mitt Romney signed in 2006 includes a program known as the Health Safety Net, which allows undocumented immigrants to get needed medical care along with others who lack insurance.

Uninsured, poor immigrants can walk into a health clinic or hospital in the state and get publicly subsidized care at virtually no cost to them, regardless of their immigration status.

Thine name is hypocrite, Mitt Romney.

Again…the law that Gov. Perry signed allows a subset of children of illegal immigrants to get instate tuition for college. That’s not free college for any of ‘em — but rather instate tuition for those that are eligible. NOT for every single illegal immigrant who wants to go to school in Texas at a reduced rate.

Meanwhile, Romneycare is available for any and all illegal immigrants. Not just a limited subset of their children who qualify, but all of ‘em.

In his hypocritical remarks about Perry during the recent Fox News-Google debate in Florida, Mittens said, “We have to turn off the magnet of extraordinary government benefits.” Uh huh…you mean like free healthcare to any and all illegal immigrants?

Illegal immigrant prisoners

While you're busting your ass to pay for your own tuition or for your kid's college fund, these illegal immigrants are getting free degrees from UT

Reason #6798 to secure our borders and cut off all benefits to illegal immigrants in our country — ALL benefits, to include birth-right citizenship for their off-spring, free schools, welfare, free healthcare…

This is from a story in the illegal-immigrant loving Austin-American Statesman describing how convicted criminals in Texas prisons are begging to be deported back to their home countries as part of a proposed plan to deport foreign convicts in order to save tax payer money:

Take, for instance, the 29-page filing by Mexican citizen Adrian Rosales, 36, serving a 65-year sentence for aggravated kidnapping from San Antonio.

Without an expedited review, Rosales, housed at the Stiles Unit in Beaumont, doesn’t become eligible for parole for another 18 years — and might not complete his sentence until 2074, when he’s 99 years old.

“I’m writing in hopes that you’ll consider me for deportation,” Rosales’ letter states. “I am one of 80 illegal aliens convicted for kidnapping — THE LOWEST AMOUNT OF ALL VIOLENT CRIMES.”

He goes on to list reasons he should be paroled and deported: He’s been imprisoned for almost 12 years with a spotless behavior record, his deportation order has already been signed, he helped federal investigators break a child pornography case in 2003, he has a brain tumor that is expensive to treat, and he has earned a business degree from the University of Texas and a master’s degree from California State University.

Full stop.

Digest that for a few moments.

This piece of shit came to our country and committed the violent crime of kidnapping. While incarcerated in our prisons, being housed and fed and given medical care all at the expense of the Texas tax payer…he was also able to get a business degree from the University of Texas and a Master’s degree from California State University.

And who exactly do you think paid for those degrees? That’s right…we did. Well, at least we probably only got charged in-state tuition rates…

Of course this entire article begs the question: Why the hell don’t we just deport them all anyway as a standard practice? And not to Mexico either…too easy for them to sneak right back in and go back to their life of crime in the United States. Once a week we should load up a C-130 with convicted illegal-immigrant convicts and drop them off in Afghanistan or Iraq. Let them worry about finding their own way back to Mexico, Honduras, or Guatemala. After word gets out, we might see a drop off in the number of violent criminals illegally entering our country.

The Austin-American Statesman has a lengthy article today on the thriving drug cartels operating in Austin. Of course they don’t try to assign any blame to our city’s Sanctuary City policies or to our Federal government’s complete refusal to do their job of securing our borders and controlling illegal immigration.

But still, a good read.

Austin’s Liberals and their liberal sanctuary city policies have allowed Mexican drug cartels and all of the insidious crimes they traffic in (drugs, sex, humans, children, etc.) to grow and thrive under what the head of the Austin’s Public Safety Commission admits has been their ‘benign neglect.’

“We’ve been a little slow to recognize” the cartels’ local growth, said Michael Lauderdale, the head of the city’s Public Safety Commission. “We’re starting to feel the consequences of that benign neglect.”

Most of these drug cartels and a swarm of other illegal immigrants come primarily from one Mexican town:

Stroll through the small, bustling main plaza in Luvianos and you’re likely to hear residents sprinkle their conversations with references to nightclubs on Riverside Drive and taquerias on Cameron Road. Immigration to Austin began in the 1970s, according to local residents, driven by deep poverty and a lack of opportunity in the rural, mountainous region. Since those first migrants landed in Austin to work in construction and open restaurants, money sent home from Austin has helped keep the Luvianos economy afloat, paying for quinceañeras, weddings and retirements.

[snip]

After making the trip north, most immigrants from Luvianos and its surrounding towns have landed in a small area of Northeast Austin near Reagan High School, filling a string of moderately priced apartment complexes.

The pro-illegal immigration editorial policy of the Austin American-Statesman won’t report it or admit it…but the overwhelming majority of these immigrants from Luvianos into Austin are illegal immigrants. Criminals.

And the worst part of our city’s sanctuary policies? We know exactly where large enclaves of these illegal criminals live. And yet they are allowed to do exactly that. Live here openly and without fear of deportation. They open businesses, send their kids to our schools, and overwhelm our health and family services.

Several restaurants and businesses have been started by Luvianos natives, and three days a week residents can board a bus at a record store on Cameron Road for a direct trip to Tejupilco, a regional capital next to Luvianos. In the middle of the neighborhood, residents walk past an idyllic mural of Luvianos, complete with the quaint gazebo that dominates its central square and the emerald Nanchititlan mountains that ring the city.

For longtime Austin residents from Luvianos, the appearance of La Familia in the city is a painful reminder. “Many people come to live here because they have fear” of La Familia, said one Luvianos-born business owner who has been here since 1985. The man did not want his name used because he feared retaliation against his family in Mexico. “Here, people aren’t so scared because there have not been threats. And if the government hears about (cartel members) they grab them up.”

Greg Thrash, who was named the resident agent in charge of the Austin DEA office three years ago, said decades of immigration from Luvianos to Austin have made it easier for La Familia to set up shop locally. “Austin is a stronghold for La Familia; we know that,” said Thrash, who led the effort to bring Austin into the federal drug trafficking program. “I believe it’s generational and familial. They will deal with those they feel comfortable with. That’s why you see the presence in certain parts (of the United States), because of family.”

So, our city has a allowed a huge drug cartel to set up shop in our cities. All out of benign neglect.

It’s beyond time to completely seal and secure our southern border. Build a wall. Bring all of our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan and then put ‘em on the ground at our border and Drones in the air. All of them well armed and instructed to shoot anything coming over or under that fence.
