Compare that to failed liberal Air America — where Al Franken was paid with stolen money from the nonprofit Gloria Wise Boys & Girls Club.

Air America is still on the air somewhere? Didn’t one of their co-founders just get busted in a prostitution ring, too?

I hadn’t seen the liberal Austin Chronicle’s response to it yet. But they get right to the heart of the matter in an honest assessment:

If you can’t make it here with Liberal radio, then you probably can’t make it anywhere (which the national market is bearing out, too).

The article does not have a single mention of the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club, and how Al Franken knowlingly took money from Air America knowing that it had been stolen from the Boys and Girls club.

The latest installment of their investigation uncovers what Al Franken knew about the fraudulent loans, and when he knew it From the August 8, 2005, Air America radio monologue.

The only question remaining now is: When will the NY Times, the Washington Post, CNN, CBS, and the rest of the Exempt Media do their own investigative reporting on this story and hold Air America’s feet to the fire for answers (rather than make excuses for the beleaguered radio network)?

Why isn’t Janeane Garofalo speaking out against an organization that is stealing money from poor kids and senior citizens?

In a pathetic attempt to bolster their embarrassingly weak numbers, Air America is suggesting that the President of the United States should be assassinated. They play it off as a humor skit. They think it’s funny. And, sadly, a lot of their listeners do to.
