California is a failed state, and in the 2010 elections they cemented that failure for the long term. There is no need for Hollywood to produce a movie of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged, as it’s being played out in real-life right before or unblinking eyes.

 

I can understand how young kids can still be inspired by and — more accurately — hoodwinked by what has been called Rand’s “sophomoric” style. What I don’t understand is adults who still think this is great literature or great political ideology.
