It’s a new year, which means a new Execution Schedule for the nation’s busiest execution chamber. So far there are 6 executions scheduled for 2012. The first is on January 26, when Rodrigo Hernandez will be executed for the 1994 kindpapping, rape, and murder of 38-year old Susan Verstegen.

On November 16, sometime shortly after 6:00 pm HTT, Esparza will finally pay for one of the most heinous crimes a person can commit (the rape and murder of a child) with the ultimate penalty.
Seems like a pretty damned cut-and-clear guilty case of capital murder. Cases like this should not take 10 years to carry out the death sentence. Moments after the death sentence was handed down, he should have been taken straight to the death chamber and administered a lethal dose of drugs. Cases like this are why the death penalty is so expensive.
At long last, no more chickens will have to give their lives so that these merciless animals might have one final tasty meal.
Today, more than 13 years after that day, the first of Byrd’s murderers will be put to death for their role in that crime. Sometime just shortly after 6:00 pm HTT Lawrence Brewer will be put down like the rabid, evil dog that he is.
But do you want an even greater and more accurate indicator of his future dangerousness? How about the fact that he’s already murdered two people in cold blood, after shooting his own sister in the chest, and while a child begged for her mother’s life? Is that a good enough indication for you?

As said many times before, some people are just so evil that the world is a better place without them. Steven Woods is such a person. And sometime just after 6:00 pm HTT the world will be just a little better off than it was a few minutes earlier.
If you can’t sentence this evil monster to death, then just take it off the books and quit pretending that it’s a possible punishment. Hopefully his stay on Kansas’ death row will be short and excruciatingly unbearable.

Robles has never been good. He’s been evil for a long, long time. He has zero redeeming value as a human, and no value to this society other than worm food. Which is what he’ll be in about 30 hours.

He murdered 11 innocent women. If you can’t give this piece of shit the death penalty, why even carry it on the books?
