Gov. Rick Perry has helped create an economic and business-friendly atmosphere here in Texas that is luring more-and-more companies away from other states (waving at you, California) while helping create new ones here. Which means more job for Texans. Which is a good thing.
The president of the Detroit school board, Otis Mathis, is not a very smart man. But that hasn’t stopped him from holding sway over the education of Detroit school children.
In other words, the guys that Obama has hired to facilitate the bailout of Detroit’s automakers don’t even drive the crap that comes out of Detroit these days — but they expect the rest of us to do so.
The Big Three Automakers are all financially failed enterprises. Mostly due to their union contracts (that and the fact that they produce crappy cars that fewer and fewer people want to buy).
