There were a lot of naysayers when this race and this track were announced. A lot of folks who said that there was no way Bernie Ecclestone could pull this off. Well…they were wrong.

I thought for sure the City of Austin would find a way to screw this up. The Circuit of the Americas is going to bring a lot of money, development, and attention to our city. And jobs, too. Not just on F1 day, but every weekend.
