Of course today’s Holiday is officially called Flag Day — not US Flag day — but, sadly, I think the distinction needs to be pointed out that this Flag Day commemorates the Stars and Stripes.
It’s a little known fact that flying the American Flag on June 14 also signifies respect for the U.S. Army.
