She’s appalled…appalled I tell you…that the Republicans voted to gut public unions. Appalled because she can’t imagine her own beloved Democrats ever doing something like this:
I not only applaud the Senate Republicans for taking this action, I also applaud Gov. Walker for remaining steadfast during this past three week span in the face of organized protests, threats to public officials and the vulgar presence of smelly hippies and union thugs in their state capitol.
Her post is actually about the ridiculous “offer” from Democrat Fleebagger Mark Miller (D-Monona) to meet with Republicans ‘near the Wisconsin-Illinois border to formally resume serious discussions’ on Walker’s budget repair bill:
New laws should be passed while the cowards are on the lam that describes “abandonment of office” and details steps necessary to replace legislators who have fled the state and their office.
To clarify, the “fleebagger” Democrat Senators aren’t needed for parts of the bill, those parts that aren’t fiscal in nature and as Mr. Lindgren(Prof of Law, Northwestern) explains, there is legal precedence that make it clear that the collective bargaining issue is non-fiscal.
