But until the Left stops “outing” closeted gay Republicans for sport, I’m can’t begin to feel any sympathy over their faux outrage at an anonymous lefty blogger getting “outed”.

I’m guessing it’s the same reason that gay men in America engage in risky behavior while drunk. It’s because they’re drunk.
Hysterical video. Which made me think of Seth Rogan and Paul Rudd’s shtick in “40 Year Old Virgin” when they rib each other with, “You know how I know you’re gay?” (Because you macramed yourself a pair of jean shorts.)
