There are armed security guards in schools all over America. And have been for many, many years. Hell, David Gregory, Rahm Emanuel, and even Barack Obama send their kids to schools with armed security personnel inside the school to protect their children.

If I decide to let my boy attend public school (still leaning more towards homeschooling at this point), I’d feel infinitely better knowing that his teachers were trained, licensed, and allowed to carry handguns while teaching.
