We’re less than 2 hours from the execution of Mexican-born (but Texas-raised) illegal immigrant/rapist/murderer Humberto Leal.
Without the Parole Board’s recommendation, Gov. Perry cannot legally grant Leal clemency; he can only issue aone-time 30-day reprieve. If I were Leal, I wouldn’t be holding my breath waiting on it. Or, actually, go ahead and hold your breath. Same result.
I’ll be keeping a close eye on the “totally unbiased, objective, and professional” reporters at the Trib and their completely unbiased stories on Gov. Perry over the coming months to illustrate their ridiculous claim of “unbiased” reporting.
