We should all call our Representatives and Senators and remind them that aiding and abetting criminals (which illegal immigrants are) is a felony.
So…if this were to pass, could we expect Obama’s justice department to step in and sue California like they did when Arizona tried to enact their own immigration laws? Yeah, I wouldn’t expect them to either.
The Austin-American Statesman has a lengthy article today on the thriving drug cartels operating in Austin. Of course they don’t try to assign any blame to our city’s Sanctuary City policies or to our Federal government’s complete refusal to do their job of securing our borders and controlling illegal immigration.

Obama and his Justice Department has made it abundantly clear that immigration enforcement is a Federal government responsibility; just ask Gov. Jan Brewer of Arizona what happens when a state tries to help the Federal government do their damned job. In which case, they need to pony up the costs incurred by the states for housing the results of their failures.
In yet another demonstration of contempt for the rule of law and the separation of powers, the Obama administration has announced that it will no longer enforce our immigration laws.
Will Obama’s attack dog Attorney General sue the Supreme Court now?

And this is why states are trying to seize more power to identify, arrest, detain, prosecute, and deport illegal immigrants. Because our Federal government has absolutely zero interest in doing so.
So what does Congress (both sides of the aisle) want to do? Open the door even wider to let even more of ‘em in to take our jobs (and then send the money back to the failed narco-state of Mexico):
