But 2010 was the year that changed everything in politics. The Tea Party showed incumbent candidates who have grown fat, lazy, and insulated from their constituents that they are no longer safe.

 

2010: The year that Mark McGwyer announced he used steroids. Ricky Martin announced he’s gay. Sen. Kay Baily Hutchison (RINO-TX) announces she lied about resigning from the Senate. Let’s just call 2010 “The year stuff that everybody already knew is considered news.

 

On Tuesday night, KBH might have lost the race to be Texas’ next Governor. But the real losers were Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams and the citizens of Texas.

 

I was invited by the Rick Perry campaign to come down and sit at the media table at the Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, but I just didn’t want to make that haul after a long day at the office. But I’ll be rooting for them from here in Spicewood..

Rick vs. Kay has a roundup of the prebituaries that are starting to flow for KBH’s last grasp at relevancy.

We did not elect you to run for Governor of Texas while you are supposed to be in the Senate. Especially since you are still getting paid (handsomely) for a job you aren’t doing, while interviewing for another job.

 

Seems like KBH and her hubby’s law firm were convicted by a jury for fraud and conspiracy in October of 1994.

 

Pay attention to the start of Medina’s response. Sorry, Debra, but educated and intelligent people do not use the term “irregardless.” The more you open your mouth, the more your campaign devolves.

 

Not surprisingly, these four Liberal Editorial Staffs from the Houston Chronicle, the Dallas Morning News, the San Antonio Express News, and the Austin American-Statesman also endorsed the least Conservative candidate in the GOP primary, Kay Bailey Hutchison.

 

Is it any wonder why Kay Bailey Hutchison is recruiting Democrats to come out and vote for her in the March 2nd primary against Governor Rick Perry? Because she’s all but conceded that she can’t beat Perry without drumming up support from like-minded tax-and-spend Democrats.
