To his credit, Obama has done something our Democrat-led Senate is too cowardly (and disdainful of their constitutional duty) to do — propose a budget.
Of course, as we close in on 1000 days since Democrats last proposed or passed a budget, it seems obvious that it’s not just a balanced budget that Obama opposes, it’s a budget.
Yeah…so this video is not what I was expecting when one of my middle-of-road, but leans-sorta-left friends sent me the link. This guy pretty much spits out what I’m feeling most days about our government.
Oh, and when the Senate voted to raise the debt limit again in 2007 and 2008, Senator Obama fell back on his default voting position: Present.
That’s exactly the right answer, and exactly what Cantor needs to do:
But seriously. He really said, “Don’t call my bluff?” Are you freak’n kidding me? Which of course means that he is indeed bluffing. Jesus-H-Christ on burnt toast, but I wish I could get this guy in my weekly poker g
Obama doesn’t give a rat’s ass about cutting spending. Nor does he have any intent or interest on doing so. Raise your taxes. That’s what he wants to do, and what he will do if the GOP gives him even an inch.
What he does have a plan for is to spend our country into oblivion.
Busy, busy, busy right now…but just wanted to mention Obama’s absurd waste of breath speech yesterday. Especially the unbelievable Spending Reductions in the Tax Code phrasing. Which was simply Obama’s way of avoiding having to come out and call them exactly what they are: tax raises. On every-frick’n body.
I actually agree with Rangel — it is immoral. But not for the same reason that Charlie thinks it’s immoral. Rangel (D-NY) thinks it’s immoral for cutting anything and not raising more taxes. I think it’s immoral for not cutting trillions instead of a few billion.
Obama always does what is most beneficial to Obama at any given moment, with no regard for prior or future actions. He only regrets that action now because it hurts him to be opposed to raising the debt limit. Back then? It was politically beneficial to Obama to oppose it.
Obama has spent more money than not just any other President in history — but more than every President in the history of the United States combined. The pretender-in-chief has less fiscal discipline than Michael Moore has discipline for eating in moderation.
