Does anybody remember back to May of 2006 — when Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D –RI), the son of Sen. Teddy Kennedy — was driving erratically, nearly ran over a police cruiser, and then collided with a barricade. At 2:45 a.m.
I gotta ask — is there really nobody more qualified to be your representative from Rhode Island? I mean — I know it’s a small state and all — but surely somebody who’s not a mentally ill drug addicted alcoholic has to be available. Right?
This morning, Kennedy’s office released the following statement: “At least nobody drowned.”
