Pelosi doesn’t address her part, or that of her party, in contributing to the financial crisis that occurred in the last year of Bush’s term, just a few months from the election, at a time when McCain was leading in the polls.

That’s the kind of talk that just might make those people vote for somebody else (anybody else) to do his job — which is to act on behalf of his constituents, not in defiance of them.
You think that government is the answer, and what we need is more of it! You’d rather have somebody else take care of you and somebody else make decisions for you. How utterly pathetic, and how utterly un-American.
If Nancy passes this and Obama signs it, all without a vote, they will have circumvented the consent of the governed.
