I’m not a lawyer or a prosecutor…but this sure sounds like it should be illegal. Misappropriation of funds? Theft? Something…surely there’s some law forbidding candidates and politicians from using campaign donations as their own personal slush fund, isn’t there?

There’s a special election in New York’s House District 9 tomorrow to replace disgraced former-Rep. Anthony Weiner. And, despite this being a Democrat strong hold, the Republican candidate, Bob Turner has a pretty sizable 6 pt lead in the most recent polling.

Kirsten is spot on — the problem isn’t that he was just another dirtbag cheating on his wife and sending pics of junk to (according to Weiner himself) random strangers on Twitter and Facebook. The problem is the cover up and that the man is a “sociopathic liar” who is unfit and undeserving of the honor of serving the people in Congress.
Why on earth would he feel the need to apologize to the former Cheater-in-Chief about cheating on his own wife? I’m sure he was just looking for a friendly ear who couldn’t/wouldn’t judge him, but would probably sympathize with him to the tune of, “Regular people just don’t understand the nature and opportunity of Political Gods like us…”

Seriously — either you took the picture and remember it, or you did not take that picture…there’s no way in hell you don’t know if you took that photo of your junk or not. Which means that the weasel is also a liar.
By now you’ve all seen the story (and hopefully not the actual picture of Rep. Weiner’s alleged brief-clad weiner.
