Coincidence? Nope…it’s not. And no state is doing it better — and thus attracting the most people — than Texas:
Uh, it’s not “population trends” that are pushing people from areas of economic collapse to areas of prosperity — it’s failed Democrat policies that have killed jobs, industries, and entire ways of life that are driving people to business-friendly states like Texas.
Sorry, Bill White — but as the old saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And your plan is to take Texas in the direction as the failed states of California and Michigan. To which Texans are preparing to tell you, “Hell NO!” in just a few short weeks.
I was invited by the Rick Perry campaign to come down and sit at the media table at the Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, but I just didn’t want to make that haul after a long day at the office. But I’ll be rooting for them from here in Spicewood..
The sad thing is, after they’re evicted from their FEMA trailer, they’ll likely land in some other type of government funded or assisted housing.
I guess Hardin County was somewhat of a lost cause for Democrats anyhow — hell, even President Obama only won 19% of the vote in the county.
I’m sure that the teacher’s unions had their hand in making sure that a well-intentiond program failed by making it “more equal” for all their members.
Today is the first day of early voting for the November 3 Texas Constitutional Amendments election. Here’s how I’m voting, and hope many other Conservatives follow suite:
Though, I think going to Home Depot to hire some wet backs to run those wet vacs wouldn’t be such a bad idea, and would save the city some money on labor rates..
