Whatever your plans are today, take a few minutes to think of and thank the Veterans of this country — and know that whatever activity you are enjoying today is in part because of the sacrifices of these brave men and women.
From Frank Buckles — the last remaining living US Veteran of World War I — to the 17 and 18 year old Privates that my brother (a Recruiting Station Commander in the US Army) is enlisting today: our nation owes you the deepest debt of gratitude.

It was awesome to see the military and Veterans welcomed with such open arms on the campuses of these two small town schools. It’s the type of overt patriotism and respect of military that would make teachers in San Fransisco go insane — but here in small town Texas, they are still teaching kids how to truly honor and respect the military.
