There’s only one reason that Democrats oppose Voter ID laws — folks who vote fraudulently almost always vote Democrat, so this law hurts them directly at the ballot box.
These Voter ID laws make it much more difficult for groups like ACORN to commit voter fraud, which is why they are fighting them so viciously.
Then yeah…I guess new voter requirement laws will keep millions of Democrat voters from the polls. And that’s a good thing. Unless you’re a Democrat that is.
But like many on the Left, Ezra Klein is considered an expert in fields in which he’s actually never worked…simply because he writes about them and fancies himself an academic in the area.
I have yet to hear a single good or valid argument against requiring people to prove who they are before casting a ballot. Good for Tennessee for working towards this.
To the opponents of this bill and all their empty claims about what this bill does or does not do, I refer them to an old Texas colloquialism: Time to paint your butt white and run with the antelope.

Dems don’t want voter ID laws for one reason and one reason only — it makes it harder for them to cheat the system; makes it much harder for dead people and illegal immigrants to keep voting for Democrats.
How the hell do these people — these “legal” citizens of the US — not already have some form of ID? It doesn’t have to be a Driver’s License, either. But how do they bank? Buy prescriptions? Rent a home? Get a job? Rent a movie? But a six pack of Tecate?
