This year’s Worst Person of the Year goes to John Edwards.
In honor of Time’s Person of the Year award, I also like to point out the counterpart — the Worst person of the Year. And this year’s Worst Person of the Year goes to Major Nidal Hassan for being the worst kind of traitor: a US Soldier turned Islamic jihadist who murders his own fellow Soldiers.

Last year, to counter TIME magazine’s “Person of the Year” award, I started my own “Worst Person of the Year” award. Last year’s winner (loser) was New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin.

TIME magazine just named their Person of the Year (persons as it turned out). But there were a lot of not-so-great people in 2005. So, here’s my list of the Top 5 Worst People of 2005:
